TessArray® Products

 

TessArray RPM products are high density, high performance microarrays based on the Affymetrix® CustomSeq® resequencing microarray platform, using TessArae® proprietary and patented methodologies for identifying the optimal pathogen gene sequences, and unique bioinformatics tools for data analysis.

 

TessArae has created several custom designs to detect specific mutations in human genes, including SNPs (missense and nonsense mutations), insertions and deletions, which are linked to genetic disease pathology. This approach enables screening of a genomic DNA sample for numerous mutations simultaneously, reducing time-to-result and cost as compared to direct DNA sequencing, by rapidly determining whether expected mutations are present or absent in the sample. • The TessArray RPM-Flu Array simultaneously detects and identifies known and unknown upper respiratory pathogens, both viral and bacterial. This array provides comprehensive coverage of Influenza, including avian influenza, providing genus-, species, serotype- and strain-level information.

   

  The TessArray RPM-TEI Array provides comprehensive detection of CDC Category A, B, and C threat agents, including those closely related organisms that can be confounders.
