Mutation Identification TessArae can help you identify the appropriate known mutations and help you build an assay that meets your guidelines for prevalence and clinical relevance.
Primer Selection and Testing After designing primers in silico, TessArae selects those most appropriate to amplify the genomic sequences of each targeted mutation. We then perform initial evaluation of primer performance and reevaluate and redesign those primers that do not sufficiently amplify genomic targets.
Multiplex Formulation TessArae combines those individual primers into multiplex cocktails, applying our unique expertise in creating complex formulations. This allows you to reduce the number of amplification reactions necessary for the assay.
Assay Optimization This final step ensures the efficient incorporation of all your reagent and work flow requirements into your finished assay.
Analytical Validation TessArae validates the performance of every mutation in the assay. We use a combination of: (1) commercially available human genomic DNA; (2) genomic templates with known mutations from reference collections; and (3) synthetic templates (when genomic samples are not available).
Base Calling Algorithm Optimization Using the results from this analytical validation, TessArae increases the statistical performance of your assay even more by optimizing the TessArae proprietary GeneCipher™ algorithm. Confidence metrics accompany assay results, assuring the correct base calls as well as accurate identification of targeted mutations.
